- Work closely with production, rough mill, shipping, and customer service to keep orders on schedule.
- Receive and organize parts and components from production areas.
- Perform quality checks before orders move to the next step.
- Run light machinery or production processes as needed.
- Sort, label, wrap, skid, and stage products accurately for shipment.
- Help verify that parts, components, and hardware are complete before shipment.
- Catch missing items, quality issues, or timing problems before they become customer problems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, visual work area.
- Follow checklists and help improve processes over time.
- Hustle when needed to keep orders moving out the door accurately and on time.
What We’re Looking For
The best fit is someone who:
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Takes ownership without needing constant supervision.
- Has a strong sense of urgency.
- Communicates clearly with supervisors and other departments.
- Can follow a checklist but also notice when something does not look right.
- Is comfortable learning basic shop equipment and production processes.
- Can use an iPad, scanner, computer, or shop-tracking system as needed.
- Handles changing priorities well.
- Enjoys improving messy or developing processes.
- Wants a role with room to grow.
