Keystone Wood Specialties has earned a position on FDMC Magazine’s FDMC 300 list. FDMC 300 is the woodworking industry’s oldest recognized ranking – by sales – of the largest North American manufacturers of cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork, retail fixtures, home organization, windows/doors, components and other wood-related products.
Based on 2022 sales of $9.4 million, this is the first time Keystone has made this list, earning the 299th spot.
“This is a very exciting accomplishment for our company, and even more meaningful that we achieved this milestone the same year we celebrated a milestone anniversary of 50 years in business,” said Nick Stoltzfus, President of Keystone Wood Specialties.
Founded in 1972 by Samuel D. Stoltzfus, Keystone Wood Specialties grew from a one-man cabinetmaking shop to a wholesale wood components manufacturer employing 75 people. The facility is located in Lancaster, PA, and serves customers in the custom cabinet, furniture, and remodeling industries across the United States.
“I credit the skill and dedication of our employees, along with our long-term customer relationships, with getting us to this point. I’m excited for the future impact we can make in this industry,” said Nick.
In 2021, Keystone launched a more in-depth Quality Program based on building continuous process improvements into every stage of production from start to finish. In 2022, the company took a major quality step forward with the installation of a BACCI Edge Profiling CNC. This new technology is industry leading in creating perfectly square and sized doors and drawer fronts.
