Woodworker / Cabinet Maker Lead

If you are a energetic person who enjoys technology, has knowledge of wood species, polish and white wood sanding experience, as well as the knowledge to run and trouble shoot a BACCI machine and bore, and you enjoy leading and training a team of individuals, this may be the position for you!

This position requires knowledge of whitewood sanding, polish sanding and the ability to operate an orbital and a robotic sander efficiently to maximize output. Knowledge of Bacci machine and ability to bore holes in door panels is helpful.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform all of the above duties as well as lead the team of sanders for maximum output without sacrificing the quality of the product and the safety of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Read Material Sheets and ensure order and wood species are accurate.
  • Sand product per specifications based on customer finish selected.
  • Ability to manage the flow of products through the department based on product due/ship dates .
  • Ability to train and others within the department and create a cohesive efficient team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a woodworker in the skills listed.
  • Enjoys working with technology and getting the most output from it, along with troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ability to read material sheets accurately as well as accurately read a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
  • Positive Attitude to support company mission.

Hour are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with OT as required.

Salary offered based on skill level and experience.
