Cabinet Door Machining and Assembly

Keystone Wood Specialties has an immediate opening for a wood Cabinet Door Machining and Assembler position. In this role you will build cabinet doors by pulling matching panels, gluing end rails, compiling all the door materials and then inserting the door into the Doucet clamp.

Requirements of the position:

  • Cutting and building face frames and mitre doors to fit together correctly.
  • Proper maintenance of tools/equipment and checking setups to ensure accuracy, quality and squareness of panels and doors.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow customer work order specifications and maintain accurate paperwork.
  • Ability to read work orders and accurately read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push or pull cart up to 100 lbs.
  • After initially learning position, cross training within the department to learn coping rails or machining mitre door parts and mortise and tenoning face frames

Ability to identify different wood species is beneficial.

Prior woodworking experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is available to candidates with a great work ethic and a desire to learn these skills.

This is a full-time, day-shift position. Expected hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
