CNC Operator (Woodworking)

We are seeking a CNC Shop Saver Router Operator to join our cabinetry components manufacturing team.

This position requires attention to detail, proper maintenance of tools/equipment and checking setups to ensure accuracy to meet quality standards. In this role, the selected candidate will need to be tech savvy and have the ability the troubleshoot issues that may occur. Prior CNC set up and operation experience in wood working is required for this position. The individual in this role must be able to work quickly, accurately and ensure the quality of each product produced. (Note: This role requires someone with some in depth experience in setting up the CNC, not just loading the table and pushing buttons).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machine to fabricate wood components according to drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision of finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of machined parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and work safely in compliance with safety regulations.
  • The ability to follow customer work order specifications and maintain accurate paperwork is required. Ability to material sheets and accurately read a tape measure is required.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, lift and carry up to 60lbs and push or pull cart up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be willing to cross train into other roles when work is slow on the CNC.

Strong work history as well as experience with CNC and woodworking/cabinet making preferred.

Expected Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 – 2:30 PM

Must be dependable and reliable – Good attendance is a must!

Salary for this position is based on experience.
