CNC Operator (Woodworking)

Keystone Wood Specialties has an immediate opening for a CNC ShopSabre Router Operator.

In this role, the selected candidate will need to be tech savvy and have the ability to troubleshoot issues that may occur. Prior CNC set up and operation experience in woodworking is required for this position.

This position requires the individual to work quickly, accurately and ensure the quality of each product produced. (Note: This role requires someone with in-depth experience in setting up the CNC, not just loading the table and pushing buttons).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate ShopSabre CNC router to fabricate wood components according to drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision of finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of machined parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and work safely in compliance with safety regulations.
  • The ability to follow customer work order specifications and maintain accurate paperwork is required.
  • Ability to read material sheets and accurately read a tape measure is required.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, lift and carry up to 60 lbs. and push or pull carts up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be willing to cross train into other roles when work is slow on the CNC.

Ability to identify different wood species is preferred.

Strong work history as well as 2 years experience with CNC and woodworking/cabinetmaking preferred.

Expected Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 – 2:30 PM with overtime as required.

Must be dependable and reliable – Good attendance is a must!

Salary for this position is based on experience.
