Sprayer Finisher for Wood Components

We have an opening in our Finishing Department for someone to serve as a Finish Sprayer The ideal candidate should have prior work experience in sanding and finishing wood products and be proficient at applying paints, Clear Coat and Primer as well as stains or glazes to products such as cabinet doors, drawers, moulding and other cabinet components

PRIOR EXPERIENCE SPRAYING CLEAR COAT ON WOOD IS REQUIRED!

Essential Functions:

  • Spray wood products and apply stains or glazes.
  • Mix varnish and spraying products for sealing or for top coat.
  • Clean, set up and maintain spray booths and spraying equipment.
  • Inspect wood components for defects.
  • Perform sanding and wood preparation as needed.
  • Document materials used in order processing.
  • Track orders and follow daily production schedules.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of different wood species.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs.
  • Ability to see clearly, depth perception and color vision
  • Minimum 3 years experience in spray finishing (wood)

This is a full-time, day-shift position. Monday-Friday. 6 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime as required.
