Part-Time Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable Part Time Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for loading, transporting and unloading cabinetry components in a safe, timely manner to customers’ locations, using our delivery vans. Days of the week required are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:30 am – 3:30-4:00 pm depending on driver route and traffic. This position is only three days a week and will be delivering our product to New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington DC areas. Reliability and good driving record and the ability to follow directions is a must! In this role, the delivery driver will be responsible for loading their own vans as well as the safe delivery of the products without damage, and unloading the van for the customer. Will need to be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Forward and driver facing cameras are in the vans for safe operation. Drivers use I-pads with pre-set delivery addresses and GPS to aid in easily finding the delivery location.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and timely deliver products to customers
  • Load and unload cargo taking care not to cause damage
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lb. max when loading and unloading
  • Maintain the vehicle in good condition – report all/any damage.

Skills Needed

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience driving a van. No CDL required. This is not a box truck
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations
  • Must enjoy driving and be comfortable with driving in large cities.
  • Strong customer service skills – this person is the face of the company when meeting customers to drop off orders.
