Wood Components Polish Sander

Keystone Wood Specialties has an immediate opening for a Wood Components Polish Sander to inspect and sand our wood cabinet doors, drawer fronts and other wood products to prepare for finishing in-house and shipping to the customer. In this role, the Polish Sander would polish sand and learn the boring process. For this position, the selected candidate must have a good eye for detail with some knowledge of wood species preferred.

Prior woodworking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities of this position includes:

  • Inspecting products to ensure they match customer order sheets, are free of defects and meet quality standards.
  • Puttying, sanding and repairing any products as required by customer order sheets. Hand sand or by use of Keundig Sanding Machine.
  • Recording completed work and material or quality issues on daily production report.
  • Boring hinge holes on cabinet doors as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintaining sanding table, work station and tools per maintenance schedule.
  • Must be attentive to detail and have good communication skills.
  • Must have the manual dexterity needed to use power sanding equipment.
  • Must have a good eye for detail.

This is a full-time, day-shift position. Monday-Friday 6 AM – 2:30 PM
