Moulder Machine Set-up and Grinder

We are seeking a Moulder Machine Operator/Grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will learn how to set up and feed a Moulder and will support the department to support in grinding tooling and other maintenance support as needed. This role is essential for ensuring that all grinding tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards, contributing to the overall success of the machine operation and production of a quality product.

Responsibilities

  • Perform grinding operations on metal and other materials to achieve desired finishes and dimensions.
  • Set up and feed product effectively while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
  • Support maintenance in preventative maintenance and other duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during grinding processes and communicate effectively with Manager.

Qualifications Required

  • Proven experience in Machine Operation and grinding in the wood cabinetry components business.
  • Ability to read calipers and tape measures
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including lifting materials as needed. (Up to 75 lbs.)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 40 hours/week.

Strong work history and good attendance is required to be successful in this role.
