Mitre Cabinet Door Builder & Face Frame Operator

Keystone Wood Specialties has an immediate opening for a Miter Cabinet Door Builder and Face Frame Operator. In this role you will build custom miter cabinet doors, haunched cabinet doors and face frames according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Sourcing and inventorying material as needed from the rough mill department.
  • Grading material according to wood specification and cutting rail material to length.
  • Setting up and operating MMTJ, Bacci BMT, and HMPTH machines to miter, haunch and mortise parts.
  • Apply beading, dados, and modifications to parts after machining as necessary.
  • Assembling cabinet doors and face frames according to specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with reading a tape measure.
  • Experienced with wood identification and some knowledge of material defects (knots, checking, sapwood/heartwood).
  • Minimum 5 years experience operating and setting up industrial woodworking machinery.
  • High degree of problem solving ability / ability to troubleshoot problems with raw material or machinery setup.
  • Ability to be on your feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs. This is a fast paced job.
  • Ability to read comprehensively. This position will be reading BOMs, work instructions, and CAD drawings on a regular basis.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of different types of tooling (carbide, diamond, high speed steel).
  • Experience with these machines is a bonus: Accusystems/Pillar MMTJ and HMPTH and Bacci BMT (Mitre Tenoning Machine).

This is a full-time, day-shift position. Monday-Friday. 6 AM – 2:30 PM.
