CNC Operator

We are seeking a CNC Operator to join our cabinetry components manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery and will be responsible for producing precision wood components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition to running the CNC, this individual will also cross train and spend time working in Applied Moulding and our Specials departments.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machine to fabricate wood components according to drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision of finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of machined parts.
  • Assist with applied moulding and specials in our door department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and work safely in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Must be flexible in work duties to work in door department when needed.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in operating CNC machine.
  • Ability to identify different wood species.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing setting while adhering to safety protocols.

Strong work history as well as experience with CNC and woodworking/cabinet making preferred.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 – 2:30 PM, 40 hours/week
