Applied Moulding Associate / Machine Operator
We have an immediate opening for an Applied Moulding Associate to set up and apply specific wood mouldings on cabinet doors and drawer fronts as per customer orders. This person in this position will also cross train to learn how to operate various woodworking equipment and learn other processes within the department.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Pull customer orders by ship date and review each order to determine what moulding needs to be applied to the cabinet doors or drawer fronts.
- Gather moulding material needed from in-house stock, then cut moulding to size requirements of customer order.
- Dry-fit moulding pieces together to ensure an accurate fit and then glue moulding material in place using hot melt adhesive.
- Move completed jobs to the Finishing or Shipping departments as per customer order sheet.
- Must be attentive to detail and have good communication skills.
- Must have the manual dexterity needed to use tools.
Prior woodworking experience is a plus, but we offer on-the-job training to candidates with a great work ethic and a desire to learn these skills.
This is a full-time, day-shift position. Monday-Friday. 6 AM – 2:30 PM
